COLUMBUS – Columbus Police are issuing a warning of a possible armed and and dangerous individual that is accused of shooting two people who died earlier this week
On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 8:40pm, Columbus Police was called to 5570 Applefair Dr. (west Columbus) on the report of a shooting.
Upon arrival officers found two injured males, inside the home, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One victim, later identified as 20-year-old Jacob Isaiah Todd, was pronounced deceased at 8:52pm. The other victim, later identified as 21-year-old Souleymane Gadio, was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
Yesterday, February 19, 2020, Homicide detectives filed Murder & Felonious Assault charges on the suspect, 16-year-old German Sanchez Jr., for the murder of Jacob Todd and the shooting of Souleymane Gadio.
The whereabouts of German Sanchez are unknown. He should be considered “armed and dangerous”.
