Circleville – BCI is currently investigating a child sex crime in Circleville.
Around 9 am this morning BCI performed a search warrant for files and evidence at a home at Watt and Washington along with a search at the local Pickaway Board of Elections. Their primary focus was the Board of Director Matthew Nicklas who now has been charged with Rape of a child less than 13 years old. Nicklas who holds the position as a Democrat in that office.
Nicolas has a past with child sex crimes that dates back many years, that involved two boys.

BCI was involved instead of ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children because of the Board of Elections status.
Matthew Nicklas is currently being held at Pickaway County jail and more charges are possibly pending. The Pickaway County Prosecutor’s Office has requested that the Special Prosecutions Section of the Attorney General’s Office handle the case.
