CIRCLEVILLE – Residents of Ohio Heights neighborhood are being evacuated at this time due to a mainline gas leak around 10:30 am this morning.
Located at 590 East Ohio Street in Circleville a total of 43 Units in the area.
According to dispatch, a gas line was punctured and now the gas is affecting the apartment complex.
Circleville Fire department has called in mutual aid to help with the process and to make sure everyone gets out until it is clear. Please avoid the area.
Columbia Gas is the service that is used in the area.
UPDATE: Residents of 590 east Ohio may return to homes, except for buildings A and B that need to check in with fire department
