LANCASTER – Lancaster Police have arrested a student after reports of him flashing the gun on a school bus leaving school.
According to Lancaster police the investigation started when a student on a General Sherman High school bus reported that a fellow student had a gun while traveling home on the bus yesterday evening. The parent who was told by the student called the school and police immediately.
The police department identified the student and started a investigation at his home where they recovered a pistol type firearm.
The school has suspended the student with a recommendation for expulsion. Lancaster police will also be charging the student in this matter.
Due to the juvenile’s age the students name has not been released
