LANCASTER – A two vehicle wreck has occurred at the intersection of Rainbow Drive and SR-37 in Fairfield County.
According to dispatch the wreck is involving two vehicle one with heavy front end damage in the middle of the intersection at 5:00pm on January 19th.
First responders are on scene and are working on the extrication of someone who they said was unresponsive and not breathing. They have asked for more info on a medical helicopter.
UPDATE: Fairfield Sheriff has now reported that the intersection will be shut down at 37 and Coonpath, Headed out of Lancaster: Granville Pk at College Ave. Please avoid the area. Expect detour all evening, this is most likely due to the serious injuries in the accident and possible death.
Three medical emergency helicopters were requested during this accident. One was reported to be a unconscious non-breather.
