GROVE CITY – Several agencies have been on the scene and have launched a water rescue into the Darby Creek area in the area of the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park area around 5 pm today
According to Grove City police, they were called to the Alkire Road and Gardner Road area for the rescue in the Little Darby area.
According to Franklin County Sheriffs office 3-men waded into the creek and lost their footing just south of the canoe launch located in the 84-hundred block of Alkire Road. Two men made it out safely, but a 23-year old man is still missing as of 8:30 pm.
Franklin County has launched sonar and divers into the water.
