Pickaway County – A social media threat was posted today warning students and teachers of a threat that could happen at a Westfall school tomorrow, that threat according to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Department has been deemed not credible.

According to the school and the Sheriff’s department:

Westfall Local School District addressed a safety concern reported this evening, shortly after 6:00 PM. The district acted swiftly, alerting the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Department to investigate the situation.

After a thorough review, law enforcement officials determined that the safety concern was not credible. Westfall administrators and the Sheriff’s Department worked collaboratively to ensure that all necessary steps were taken to address the issue promptly.

In response to the incident, the district reassured the community that student and staff safety remains its top priority. Classes are set to proceed as scheduled tomorrow. However, as a precautionary measure, there will be an increased police presence on campus to ensure continued safety.

The district emphasized its commitment to maintaining a secure learning environment and will provide updates as necessary.
