Chillicothe, Ohio – Spring is in the air, and the Ross County Park District invites you to experience the amphibian awakening! Join them for a free public program on [March 4th] at [8 pm-9pm] at the [Buzzards Roost] to learn about the fascinating world of salamanders, newts, peepers, and wood frogs.
Program Highlights:
- Interactive Learning: Ms. Macey will lead an engaging presentation, sharing interesting facts and insights about these local amphibians.
- Pond Exploration: After the learning session, participants will embark on a guided exploration around the pond to discover the amphibian residents firsthand.
Preparation Tips:
- Dress for the outdoors, as conditions may be wet and muddy.
- Wear waterproof footwear for a comfortable experience.
- Bring a flashlight or headlamp for better visibility during the pond exploration.
- Consider packing plastic bags for muddy shoes and clothes, and a few towels to protect your car seats.
