Chillicothe, OH – November 7, 2024 – The Chillicothe Halloween Festival is thrilled to announce that its 2024 Community Grant Program is now open for applications. Local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply by the deadline of December 2, 2024, to be considered for funding. Grants awarded through this program will support projects that aim to enrich the lives of Ross County residents, furthering the Festival’s mission of community support and engagement.
Each year, the Chillicothe Halloween Festival hosts an exciting and family-friendly celebration on the second weekend of October, attracting both residents and visitors to Yoctangee Park in downtown Chillicothe. The event is organized to celebrate Halloween with various activities, entertainment, and attractions. The proceeds from the festival are invested back into the community through initiatives like the Community Grant Program, which supports local non-profit organizations dedicated to making a positive impact in Ross County.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to submit projects that demonstrate community enrichment, from educational initiatives and recreational programs to health and wellness projects and cultural events.
