\Chillicothe – Three juveniles were detained after a man called 911 reporting that a handgun was aimed at him
According to the Chillicothe police department on Wednesday around 10:44 pm, a man called 911 when three juveniles approached him and pointed a gun at him. Shortly afterwards the three ran from the scene. Police were able to get a description of the three boys and found two of them not too far from where the incident occurred.
After questioning the two young teens they admitted to using a fake gun that looked real to attempt to rob a man. The juveniles after running got rid of the fake gun that was found shortly afterward in the trash by police. The fake gun was described as a red and black Mock Glock 18 handgun.
Police are requesting charges of aggravated menacing on the boys.
