Chillicothe – A local Lumber company is closing after being in business since 1947
Eastern Avenue Lumber company reported on their Facebook feed this morning that they will start the process of closing their doors starting today.
In the post, the company first thanks the community for the long years of business, “First, we want to thank this community for allowing us to serve you for the past 76 years. It has been an honor and privilege to do so.
Secondly, they outlined how the closure will take several months to liquidate, “Second, it is with mixed emotions that we announce our closure, effective October 27, 2023. Our liquidation sale begins on August 1, 2023. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this closing process.”
