Chillicothe OH- Naomi Hope Woods, 78, of Chillicothe, died 9:10 p.m. Friday December, 25, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born September 5, 1942 in Ross County, to the late Arthur and Florence (Sharp) Hammond.
Surviving is a daughter, Gloria J. (Scott) Dailey of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Justin Horsley and companion Krystal Grant, Megan Bush, Lacey (AJ) Erney, Danielle Ball, and Rachal Ball and fiance Ben Rittinger; great grandchildren, Lily Ball, Alli Bush, Makenna Horsley, Addysun Grant, Bently Smith, and Mika Edgington; a brother, Rockford “Rocky” Hammond and fiance Kimberly Neikirk, of Chillicothe; sisters, Joyce (Martin) Herrle, Morehead City, NC, Carol (Ron) Yates, Newport, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by; a daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” Ball, brothers, Clyde C., Lloyd “Chubb” and Alton “Skin” Hammond and a sister Thelma Smith.
Hope retired from General Electric in Circleville with 30 plus years of service attended the Richmond Dale United Methodist Church.
