CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to multiple incidents on January 3, 2025, ranging from traffic violations to theft and criminal mischief. Below are the details of the cases reported:

  • Traffic Stop – E. Main St. (00:24)
    A traffic stop was conducted at 1136 E. Main St. (Speedway E Main) for an offense related to a child not being in a safety seat and operating a vehicle with an invalid license. Investigation is ongoing.
  • Theft from Vehicle – E. Main St. (07:47)
    Officers responded to the 1000 block of E. Main St. in reference to a theft from a vehicle. A report was taken, and the incident is under investigation.
  • Theft – River Trace Ln. (14:56)
    A theft complaint was reported at 85 River Trace. The investigation is continuing.
  • Warrant Arrest – E. Main St. (17:01)
    While on patrol, officers encountered Ralph Hawk Jr., who was known to have an active warrant. Hawk was arrested without incident near Tim Hortons on E. Main St. The warrant was confirmed, and he was issued a summons for failure to appear on a prior charge of drug paraphernalia. Hawk’s new court date is scheduled for January 6, 2025.
