The Chillicothe Police Department (CPD) responded to a variety of incidents on March 17, 2025. Below is a summary of notable cases reported throughout the day:

  • Warrant Arrest on E 2nd St.: At approximately 12:30 AM, officers observed a male riding a bicycle who had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested without incident.
  • Warrant Arrest at Ross County Jail: At 2:21 AM, a warrant was served at the Ross County Jail, resulting in an arrest.
  • Burglary on Foxtrail: At 2:44 AM, officers were dispatched to a reported burglary at 99 Foxtrail in Chillicothe. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Theft of Medication on Columbus St.: At 8:47 AM, a theft of medication was reported at McArthur Gardens, located at 1049 Columbus Street. Investigations are still pending.
  • Stolen Vehicle Tip: At 9:17 AM, police received a tip about a possible stolen vehicle from Texas located on Sycamore Street. The investigation is continuing.
