The Chillicothe Police Department responded to several incidents on March 18, 2025, including a range of criminal and non-criminal matters.

Disorderly Conduct Reported on North Bridge Street

At approximately 12:03 AM, officers were flagged down at Great Clips, located at 1290 N Bridge St, regarding an assault. The investigation is ongoing.

Drug Possession and Traffic Violation on US-23 Access Road

At 2:59 AM, a traffic stop was initiated on the US-23 Access Road. The driver was cited for possession of drugs and failure to stay in marked lanes. No further details were provided.

Auto Accident Investigation on Belleview Avenue

Around 8:31 AM, officers responded to a report of an auto accident on Belleview Ave. The investigation is currently pending.

Animal Complaint on Church Street

At 9:11 AM, police were called to 396 Church St for an animal-related complaint.

Warrant Arrest at Ross County Jail

At 10:36 AM, officers were dispatched to the Ross County Jail in reference to a wanted person. No further information has been released.

Trespassing Complaint at Jobs and Family Services

At 11:03 AM, police responded to a possible trespassing situation at Jobs and Family Services, located at 475 Western Ave. The case remains under investigation.

Traffic Stop on North Paint Street

At 3:15 PM, officers conducted a traffic stop on North Paint St. The driver was cited for failure to obey traffic control devices.

Drug Possession and Warrant Arrest on East Main Street

Later in the afternoon, at 3:50 PM, police noticed a man at 1124 E Main St (McDonald’s) with active warrants for his arrest. The investigation is ongoing, and the man was also found in possession of Schedule I or II drugs.

Theft at Atomic Credit Union

At 4:11 PM, officers were dispatched to 1326 N Bridge St at Atomic Credit Union in response to a theft. The investigation is still in progress.

Theft at Walmart on River Trace Lane

At 5:25 PM, police responded to a theft call at 85 River Trace Ln (Walmart). Authorities are continuing their investigation.

Runaway Juvenile Incidents

At 7:22 PM, officers were called to 335 E 4th St regarding a runaway juvenile. The case is ongoing. Later that evening, at 9:19 PM, another report of a runaway juvenile was filed from 182 Burbridge Ave. This investigation is also ongoing.
