CHILLICOTHE, OH (September 2, 2024) — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents throughout the city on September 1, 2024, spanning traffic violations, thefts, and various criminal activities. At approximately 12:26 AM, officers investigated a report of a reckless driver at Harbor Freight Tools on North Bridge Street. The investigation is ongoing. Just minutes later, a traffic stop on Sycamore Street resulted in a citation for improper turn signals and a child restraint violation.
In the early hours of the morning, officers addressed multiple issues, including disorderly conduct at 429 E. Second Street and a small engine motorcycle observed on a floodwall at 701 Hardin Drive.
