Chillicothe, OH – On the night of July 3, 2024, Chillicothe police officers responded to a report of a possible stabbing in the city The incident occurred at approximately 11:43 PM.
Emergency squads were dispatched to the 200 Block of Madeira Avenue, but the stabbing occurred on Mulberry
Upon arrival, officers found the victim, who had sustained serious injuries from the assault. The case has been classified as a felonious stabbing assault, and an investigation is ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack and identify the perpetrator.
UPDATE – A witness close to the situation reported to us that the victim was rushed to Grant Hospital with wounds on his hand and shoulder and he would need surgery care. The witness also identified the suspect as Dustin Welsh.
