Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct Cases
Officers were called to several locations throughout the day in response to disturbances. At 9:37 a.m., a trespass was reported behind Aldi at the Chillicothe Mall. The investigation is ongoing. Later, at 11:16 a.m., a disorderly conduct incident involving fighting or threats was reported on Yaples Orchard Drive, with further investigation still pending.
Shortly after, at 11:36 a.m., another criminal trespass was reported at 190 North Bridge Street, followed by a disorderly conduct report at 11:56 a.m. on Ewing Street, addressing a behavioral issue. Another disorderly conduct complaint came in at 12:03 p.m. from a domestic dispute at the 600 block of Johnson Road. The situation was resolved without further police action.
Threats and Warrant Arrests
At 4:51 p.m., officers responded to a threats complaint on King Street. While investigating, police encountered William Brown, who was found to have an active warrant for assault. Brown was arrested and transported to the Ross County Jail where he was served with the warrant.
In another arrest related to an outstanding warrant, Molly Zellers was served with a Capias warrant for a probation violation at 10:14 p.m. at the Ross County Jail. Zellers was held in lieu of bond and scheduled to appear in court on March 24, 2025.
Traffic and Reckless Driving
At 6:16 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on South Douglas Avenue for not displaying a license plate. The driver was issued a citation. Later, at 7:43 p.m., a crash was reported on South Watt Street. The investigation is ongoing.
Other Noteworthy Calls
At 8:38 p.m., officers were called to a criminal trespass complaint on Cleveland Street. While assisting with a separate call, they also encountered another trespasser on North Paint Street at 10:38 p.m. Officers continue to investigate these incidents. Additionally, at 9:30 p.m., a disorderly conduct call was made from Yoctangee Park, located at North Paint Street and East Water Street.
