Chillicothe Police Report Highlights Recent Incidents

Chillicothe, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department (CPD) released its daily media report on September 21, 2024, detailing a range of incidents from the previous day.

Suspicious Activity
At 12:23 a.m., officers responded to a report of four suspicious individuals in an alley at 171 N Bridge Street. Further details were not provided, and the investigation is ongoing.

Burglary Investigation
Shortly after, at 12:44 a.m., police were dispatched to 1049 Columbus Street for a burglary report. Investigators are actively looking into the incident.

Disorderly Conduct and Domestic Dispute
At 12:44 a.m., officers also responded to a domestic dispute at the intersection of 4th Street and Paint Street. A separate disorderly conduct report was received at 3:41 a.m. at the Valero station on N Bridge Street, concerning a possible overdose.

Theft and Drug Possession
A theft was reported at 530 Arch Street at 12:58 a.m., while officers at 1:57 a.m. on Race Street conducted a stop on a bicycle, leading to an investigation into drug possession.

Multiple Warrants Executed
Throughout the morning, several individuals with outstanding warrants were apprehended, including a female found jaywalking and another identified at Oreilly Auto Parts on N Bridge Street. Angela Graves was arrested on multiple warrants but was refused entry to the Ross County Jail due to a medical issue related to IV drug use.

Traffic Violations and Domestic Violence
Several traffic stops were made, including one at 11:12 a.m. on E Main Street for driving under suspension and another at 11:19 a.m. for a juvenile complaint. Domestic violence reports also surfaced in the early afternoon.
