Chillicothe, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents across the city on November 6, 2024, including drug-related arrests, thefts, traffic violations, and other criminal activity. Below are highlights from the day’s events:

Drug Arrest and Warrant

At 12:28 a.m., officers conducted a routine check at 33 N Bridge St (Chips Drive Thru), where they arrested a male on charges of possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Trespassing and Theft Complaints

A series of trespassing and theft reports were made throughout the day. At 2:35 a.m., police responded to a criminal trespass complaint at 20 N Plaza Blvd. Hours later, at 7:39 a.m., officers were dispatched to S Walnut St in response to a stolen bicycle report. Another theft was reported at Valero, 61 N Bridge St, around 8:08 a.m., while a third theft without consent was reported from Wal-Mart at 9:25 a.m. Officers are continuing to investigate these thefts.

Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct

At 11:44 a.m., officers responded to a criminal mischief report at 201 S Paint St. Later, at 12:45 p.m., a disorderly conduct report was made at 304 Sherman Park, where police intervened in a domestic dispute.

Vehicle-Related Incidents

Several traffic-related incidents were handled throughout the day. At 10:42 a.m., officers responded to a traffic accident at South Bridge (SR 104) and East 7th Street. A non-injury accident on N Bridge St was also reported at 5:10 p.m., with a citation issued.

In the evening, around 7:05 p.m., a traffic stop was made at the intersection of East Main St and Watt St, followed by a stop at Eastern Ave at 8:10 p.m., where an individual was cited for driving under suspension.

Stolen Property and Arrest

At 9:59 p.m., officers on patrol located a stolen vehicle at Valero, 61 N Bridge St. The investigation is ongoing. Shortly after, at 10:39 p.m., officers responded to a possible disorderly conduct report at 10 N Bridge St, resulting in the arrest of an individual.

Other Notable Incidents

A resisting arrest and obstructing official business charge was filed at 5:24 p.m. on E 4th St when a suspect with an outstanding warrant was apprehended. Additionally, an arrest for failing to display proper plates occurred at S Watt St at 7:05 p.m.
