Chillicothe, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to multiple incidents on October 10, 2024, ranging from domestic disputes to drug-related offenses.
Early in the morning, officers were dispatched to 78 S Walnut St for a reported domestic dispute at 12:09 AM. A short while later, a traffic stop at S Watt St at 12:48 AM resulted in citations for no tail lights and operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI).
At 1:24 AM, police conducted another traffic stop on Eastern Ave, leading to a citation for driving under suspension. Around the same time, officers initiated a stop on S Bridge St, discovering drug paraphernalia and drugs in possession. This investigation is ongoing.
The night continued with further traffic stops on N Bridge St, where violations included failing to display proper license plates and operating a motorcycle without the necessary endorsement. Officers also responded to a report of a theft in progress at 61 N Bridge St shortly after 3 AM.
At 6:33 AM, police were alerted to a possible overdose in a McDonald’s restroom on N Bridge St. Investigations are ongoing in this case as well.
Throughout the day, the police dealt with various reports, including a burglary complaint on Midland Rd and multiple incidents of criminal trespass on N Bridge St. A harassment report on Betty Ln at 11:00 AM escalated to disorderly conduct later that day at Sherwin Williams on N Bridge St.
In the afternoon, detectives apprehended a suspect with an outstanding warrant near Valero, while another warrant arrest was made during a traffic stop on Long St.
Evening incidents included a report of vandalism at 673 E Main St and a possible stolen vehicle case that was reported at the police station later in the day.
The day concluded with a dispatch to Cheyenne Dr for an overdose case involving disorderly conduct.
