Chillicothe Police Report: Summary of December 30 Incidents

Chillicothe, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to several incidents on December 30, 2024, ranging from theft to domestic disputes.

Early in the morning, at 12:10 a.m., officers issued a citation for an expired plate on East Main Street. Shortly after, at 12:21 a.m., police were dispatched to Certified on North Bridge Street to investigate a theft without consent.

Throughout the day, officers addressed various disturbances. A report of disorderly conduct was received at 11:10 a.m. on South Brownell Street, with investigations still pending. Another theft complaint was logged at 11:30 a.m. on North Paint Street, also under investigation.

At 11:48 a.m., police responded to a report of an unruly child in the 500 block of East 7th Street. Later, at 1:44 p.m., an officer investigated a vehicle trespass and criminal mischief complaint on Constitution Drive, taking a report for further review.

In the afternoon, at 3:28 p.m., officers were called to the Chillicothe Ross Public Library on South Paint Street regarding an overdose; the investigation is ongoing. A harassment issue was flagged down by an officer at 4:04 p.m. near 7th Street and Walnut, with inquiries still in progress.

The day continued with a suspicious person report on East Main Street at 4:09 p.m. and a domestic dispute on Prospect Street at 5:34 p.m. Later, at 7:01 p.m., police were on patrol near McArthur Gardens, addressing a criminal trespass complaint involving a female suspect.

At 9:14 p.m., officers responded to a disorderly conduct report on East 5th Street, and the evening concluded with a serious incident at 10:27 p.m. on Vincent Street involving aggravated menacing and criminal trespass. Investigations into all of these incidents are ongoing.

In total, the Chillicothe Police Department logged 13 incidents on December 30, with further updates expected as investigations progress.
