Chillicothe Police Report: Summary of Recent Incidents

Chillicothe, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department (CPD) released its daily media report on September 22, 2024, detailing a series of incidents from the previous day.

Traffic Violations
Several traffic stops were initiated early in the day, including a stop at Fleet Street and Gilmore Street for a stop sign violation at 12:53 a.m. Officers also cited multiple drivers for operating without valid licenses, including Lazae Glori Ann Lett, who was stopped at East Main Street around 1:07 a.m. for failing to reinstate her license.

Domestic Violence Arrest
A significant incident occurred at Sherman Park at approximately 10:01 a.m., where officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Upon arrival, they discovered evidence of physical harm on the victim, leading to the arrest of James Honaker for domestic violence and strangulation.

Criminal Activity and Investigations
The report included a variety of ongoing investigations. A case of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 400 block of East 2nd Street, and police are following up on a theft complaint at Walmart on River Trace Lane.

Disorderly Conduct Incidents
Multiple reports of disorderly conduct were received throughout the day, including disturbances at various locations such as Hana Japanese Steakhouse and a parking lot at Harbor Freight.

Hit-Skip Accidents
Officers also investigated two hit-skip incidents, one involving a parked vehicle at Walgreens that sustained damage between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. and another reported at Kroger on North Bridge Street.

The CPD continues to investigate these incidents and urges community members to report any information related to ongoing cases.
