
CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a variety of calls for service on Saturday, April 12, ranging from criminal trespass to a failure to comply with law enforcement.
Shortly after 1 a.m., officers were dispatched to 227 Mill Street in response to a reported assault involving criminal trespass. The situation remains under investigation.
Later in the morning, police were called to Columbus Street for a theft complaint, which has been categorized as non-criminal pending further details.
Around 3:42 p.m., officers responded to a juvenile disorderly conduct incident at 242 South Paint Street, involving reports of fighting or threatening behavior. That case is also under investigation.
At 3:54 p.m., police encountered an individual with an active warrant at the intersection of Scioto Avenue and Water Street. The individual also faces possible charges for obstructing official business and drug possession.
An arrest was made later in the evening at 5:49 p.m. on Toledo Street, where officers served a warrant on Travis Cox.
Just minutes later, police were called to 138 East 4th Street for a separate trespassing complaint.
Around 6:51 p.m., a traffic stop was initiated for a vehicle operating with an expired plate or missing validation sticker.
At 7:02 p.m., police investigated a report of vandalism at 117 East 7th Street, which is being treated as criminal mischief.
The final incident of the day occurred at 9:27 p.m., when officers attempted to stop a recklessly driven motorcycle without a license plate in the Harbor Freight parking lot on North Bridge Street. The motorcyclist failed to comply and fled the scene. Police continue to investigate the incident.
The Chillicothe Police Department logged a total of nine cases on April 12. Investigations remain ongoing in several of the incidents.
