
CHILLICOTHE, OHIO — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to multiple incidents across the city on February 13, 2025, including drug-related offenses, warrant arrests, and a breaking and entering case.
Drug-Related Incidents and Arrests
At approximately 12:09 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on North Bridge Street, leading to a citation for failure to obey traffic control devices. Later in the day, at 5:56 p.m., a detective conducting surveillance in an unmarked patrol car reported an incident involving possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
In a separate case, officers conducting a citizen contact at 45 Consumer Center Drive, the Nourse Repair Center, discovered drug paraphernalia and illegal substances, resulting in an arrest.
Warrant Arrests and Criminal Trespassing
Chillicothe officers executed multiple warrant arrests. At 8:46 p.m., officers conducted a “knock and talk” at a residence on McKeller Street after receiving information that Anthony Fletcher, who had an active warrant from the Adult Parole Authority (APA), was inside. Officers obtained consent to search the residence and found Fletcher hiding behind a television. He was arrested and transported to the Ross County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
Additionally, officers were dispatched to East Main Street at 1:43 p.m. for a report of disorderly conduct. Upon investigation, a suspect was found to have an active warrant and was also charged with criminal trespassing. Another trespassing incident occurred at 1:46 p.m. when officers were called to Valero Gas Station on North Bridge Street to remove a woman from the property.
Breaking & Entering and Other Crimes
Authorities are investigating a breaking and entering case at Chips Drive-Thru on North Bridge Street, reported at 11:32 a.m. The nature of the incident remains under investigation.
Earlier in the day, officers responded to the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) regarding a complaint of aggravated menacing. The details of this case are still being investigated.
A theft complaint was also reported on North Bridge Street at 10:34 a.m. Authorities have classified the case as non-criminal, and the investigation is ongoing.
Traffic and Accident Reports
In addition to criminal investigations, police responded to a hit-and-run incident on North Bridge Street at 12:09 p.m. and an accident report on Buckeye Street earlier in the morning.
