
CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department (CPD) responded to a series of incidents across the city on March 28, 2025, ranging from warrant arrests and domestic disputes to a reported drug overdose and a non-suspicious death.
Key Incidents:
- Warrant Arrests: Officers made multiple warrant-related arrests, including at 761 E. Main St, 1049 Columbus St, and the Ross County Jail. Another suspect with active warrants was observed walking on Eastern Ave and is under investigation.
- Domestic Violence: Officers were dispatched to 607 E. 2nd St., where an investigation into a domestic dispute remains ongoing.
- Drug Overdose: CPD responded to 369 E. Water St. for a medical emergency involving an unconscious individual.
- Vehicle-Related Incidents: Officers investigated a theft from a motor vehicle at 557 E. 2nd St., multiple traffic violations, and two motor vehicle accidents—one at Warner Ave and E. Main St., and another on N. High St. near Orange St.
- Criminal Mischief: A bike theft was reported at 358 Wetzel Dr., and officers are actively investigating.
- Obstructing Official Business: A male suspect was stopped near 433 N. High St. in relation to a trespassing issue. The case remains under investigation.
- Non-Suspicious Death: Officers responded to Vine St. for a reported death. Authorities have determined the circumstances to be non-suspicious, and a report was taken.
