Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents, Including Assaults, Thefts, and Warrant Arrest

CHILLICOTHE, OH – Chillicothe police officers responded to a series of incidents on Saturday, March 8, 2025, ranging from disorderly conduct and theft to a warrant arrest.

Authorities were first dispatched at 1:40 a.m. to 170 E. 2nd St. following a report of an assault. Later that morning, at 9:27 a.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute on King Street after receiving a third-party complaint. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

At 11:50 a.m., officers were called to the Law Complex regarding another reported assault. No criminal charges were filed in connection with this incident.

In the afternoon, thefts were reported at two separate locations. Officers were dispatched to Walmart at 85 River Trace Lane at 5:04 p.m. for a theft complaint, resulting in a summons being issued. Shortly after, at 5:58 p.m., officers responded to another theft report on Cutright Drive, where an investigation is still ongoing.

A traffic incident occurred at 6:08 p.m. at the intersection of N. Paint Street and W. 2nd Street, where a driver failed to yield, leading to a crash.

Later in the evening, at 7:55 p.m., officers were called to 611 E. 2nd St. to investigate threats, with the case still pending. Finally, at 11:32 p.m., officers responded to 28 N. Paint St. for a warrant-related matter, which remains under investigation.

Chillicothe police continue to follow up on these cases and urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.
