CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department was kept busy on Monday, February 3, responding to a range of incidents, including a police pursuit, multiple warrant arrests, and a sexual assault investigation.
Among the notable incidents:
- Traffic Pursuit on U.S. 23 – Officers attempted to stop a maroon 2013 Kia sedan driven by Holly Davidson, who had outstanding warrants and a suspended license. Davidson failed to stop, leading police on a pursuit.
- Warrant Arrests – Officers made several arrests for outstanding warrants, including a case on N. Paint St. at the Ross County Jail and another on S. Douglas Ave., where police arrested Seth Cottrill at his residence.
- Sexual Assault Investigation – A detective was contacted by a SANE nurse regarding a rape investigation on N. Bridge St. The case remains under investigation.
- Traffic Stops and Accidents – Officers conducted multiple traffic stops for speeding on Yoctangee Parkway and responded to an injury accident at Sam’s Club on N. Bridge St.
- Disorderly Conduct and Thefts – Police responded to domestic disturbances, including a noise complaint on Clay St., and theft complaints on Elm St. and N. Paint St.
