
CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to numerous incidents on March 20, 2025, ranging from warrant arrests and thefts to reports of menacing and breaking and entering.
Warrant Arrests and Criminal Violations
Officers executed multiple warrant arrests throughout the city. Around 2:30 a.m., an individual was taken into custody on North Paint Street for an outstanding warrant. Another warrant arrest occurred at Wendy’s on North Bridge Street in the afternoon, where police took Jeremiah Knox into custody for an assault warrant issued in Pickaway County.
Later in the evening, at 9:13 p.m., officers responded to a warrant service at North Paint Street, and just before midnight, a report of patient neglect on Columbus Street prompted law enforcement intervention.
Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Official Business
Around 1:28 p.m., police encountered Zachary Scott on South Paint Street while he was working on a broken-down vehicle. As officers approached, Scott attempted to evade them, leading to charges of obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and possession of contraband.
Threats and Protection Order Violations
At 1:24 p.m., officers responded to a menacing complaint on East 7th Street, where a resident reported threats. Later that evening, around 7:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the Grand Buffet on North Bridge Street for a protection order violation. Both cases remain under investigation.
Breaking and Entering, Theft, and Other Criminal Reports
Officers also dealt with theft and burglary cases throughout the day. At 2:54 p.m., police responded to a theft complaint on Columbus Street, while at 7:43 p.m., a breaking and entering report was made from a location on East 4th Street.
Traffic Violations Lead to Citations
At 5:15 p.m., a three-car crash on North Bridge Street resulted in citations for marked lane violations and driving under suspension. The driver, Jason Gutierrez, was cited and given an April 4th court date. The vehicle’s owner, Myrena Bouillon, was also cited for wrongful entrustment after knowingly allowing an unlicensed driver to operate the vehicle.
Ongoing Investigations
Additionally, officers handled non-criminal complaints involving child custody concerns, civil matters, and general complaints on Dayton Street, Midland Road, and East Main Street.
