CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents on Monday, February 10, 2025, ranging from traffic violations and trespassing to thefts and drug-related offenses.
Early in the morning, officers were dispatched to North Bridge Street for a motor vehicle accident, where the driver was charged with Failure to Control and OVI. Shortly after, an individual was arrested on North Rose Street due to an outstanding warrant.
Later that night, a juvenile was found walking alone on Ewing Street, prompting an ongoing investigation. Officers also responded to a criminal trespass complaint at Valero on North Bridge Street and a disorderly conduct call on Hardin Drive.
At Tiffan Towers on South Walnut Street, police conducted a welfare check, where they reported a non-suspicious death. Additionally, authorities handled a juvenile-related investigation on Yoctangee Parkway and served another warrant at the Law Enforcement Complex (LEC) on North Paint Street.
Afternoon reports included a theft from a motor vehicle on Stacey Road, a shoplifting incident on River Trace Lane, and a criminal trespass case on Columbus Street related to potential drug activity. Later that evening, a search warrant was executed at 1049 Columbus Street, Room 406, leading to an investigation into possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
Officers also responded to multiple disorderly conduct complaints, including incidents on East 2nd Street, West 7th Street, and Lincoln Park. Another criminal trespass was reported on North Walnut Street, while officers were flagged down on North Bridge Street for a harassment complaint.
Finally, a suspect with a warrant was arrested on Glencroft Avenue shortly before midnight.
The Chillicothe Police Department continues to investigate several of these cases and encourages residents to report any suspicious activity.
