CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a variety of incidents on February 8, 2025, ranging from theft and burglary to disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI).
Key Incidents Reported:
- OVI and Crash on Yaples Orchard Drive (1:35 a.m.) – Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 9 Yaples Orchard Drive. The driver was cited for failure to control and operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI).
- Breaking and Entering on Diehl Street (7:37 a.m.) – Police were dispatched in response to a theft-related break-in. The investigation remains ongoing.
- Criminal Mischief at the Moose Lodge (9:13 a.m.) – Authorities responded to a criminal mischief complaint at 837 E. Water Street.
- Fraud Investigation on Locust Street (10:38 a.m.) – A resident reported a misuse of a credit card, with officers launching an active investigation.
- Theft at Walmart Bank (1:47 p.m.) – A theft was reported at Woodforest National Bank inside Walmart on River Trace Lane.
- Disorderly Conduct at Taco Bell (5:14 p.m.) – Officers responded to 1005 E. Main Street for a disorderly conduct complaint.
- Burglary on Shawnee Drive (7:00 p.m.) – A reported burglary led officers to a residence at 12 Shawnee Drive, where an investigation is underway.
- Criminal Trespassing at Valero Gas Station (7:01 p.m.) – A male subject was reported trespassing at 61 N. Bridge Street and needed to be barred from the property.
