Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents on March 13

CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents throughout the city on March 13, 2025, ranging from thefts and assaults to traffic violations and disorderly conduct.

In the early morning hours, officers were dispatched to East Second Street for a report of phone harassment. Later in the morning, a driver was stopped on Water Street for texting while driving, highlighting the department’s continued efforts to crack down on distracted driving.

Theft was a recurring issue throughout the day, with reports of stolen property and shoplifting. Officers responded to multiple locations, including East Main Street and River Trace Lane, where investigations are ongoing.

Law enforcement also handled several disorderly conduct calls, including one on Washington Avenue and another at Lincoln Park in the evening. Additionally, an aggravated robbery involving a deadly weapon was reported near Scioto Avenue following a fight, with officers investigating the circumstances.

Other notable incidents included a vandalism report on South Walnut Street, a dog bite investigation on Betty Lane, and a criminal trespassing complaint at a local business on South Paint Street.

Chillicothe Police also made a traffic stop leading to an arrest for illegal drug possession and handled a reckless driving incident in a private parking lot near North Bridge Street.

Authorities continue to investigate many of these cases, urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
