The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 18 incidents on Sunday, March 30, handling a variety of calls, including drug-related offenses, domestic violence, disorderly conduct, and welfare checks.
Drug Arrest & Warrant Service
- Officers assisted an outside agency at Riverside St. and N. Mulberry St., resulting in an arrest for drug possession and drug abuse instruments.
- A warrant was served for a traffic-related failure to appear case, with the suspect processed through the Chillicothe Police Department.
Domestic & Disorderly Conduct Cases
- Officers responded to multiple disorderly conduct complaints, including at S. Pohlman Rd., Washington Ave., and S. Walnut St.
- A domestic violence incident at E. Water St.’s Moose Lodge resulted in an assault report being taken.
- Another domestic violence case occurred on E. Fifth St. late Sunday night.
Criminal Investigations
- A theft was reported on E. Fifth St., with an ongoing investigation.
- A bad check fraud case was initiated at American Vintage Warehouse after a business owner reported a potential incident.
- A traffic crash was reported on N. Bridge St., with officers filing a report.
Welfare Checks & Missing Persons
- Officers were dispatched to East Fourth St. regarding a missing person; the case remains under investigation.
- Welfare checks were conducted at Caroline Dr. and McKeller St., with one individual being transported to the hospital by emergency personnel.
Juvenile & Public Safety Concerns
- A juvenile complaint at W. 7th St.’s Lincoln Park complex is being investigated for unruly behavior.
- Officers responded to a female found unresponsive at an apartment on S. Paint St., with the investigation continuing.
