CHILLICOTHE – Local Police departments aim to protect and serve, and sometimes the latter gets overlooked, so Scioto wanted to highlight a positive story from the Chillicothe police department.
On 3/06/22 police were dispatched to 1075 North Bridge street when an employee had found a blue wallet inside a store. The wallet was full of personal property, bank cards, and money. Using information that was found on ID information inside the wallet the officer was able to look at her information in his database and found that the woman lived within the city.
The officer then took the wallet to her home and upon knocking at the door was able to ID the woman as the owner and return her wallet.
