Chillicothe – SWAT made several arrests on Wednesday when they attempted to stop a suspected drug trafficking location.
On 7/06/22 according to the Chillicothe police department, they conducted several traffic stops coming and going from 145 Sycamore street and found suspected narcotics that the suspects admitted was crack cocaine. Several “customers” reported that they had purchased the drugs from an African American Male they knew as “TC.”
With enough evidence that there was trafficking going on at the location, the police department requested a Search Warrant for the location. SWAT was called in to help with the breach and search of the house for narcotics.
“TC” was found in the living room when police entered into the residence, when seeing them according to the report he ran into the bathroom. Several other suspects were also inside the home when the search occurred and all were detained.
“In plain view of the living room, a digital scale with a white rocky substance was positioned on the living room table along with several cell phones. I know through my training and experience that narcotics dealers use digital scales to weigh their product before sale and cell phones are commonly used to communicate with perspective buyers. Continual search of the living room yielded a small cellophane baggie with more white rocky substance in the couch, more crack pipes, a bag of marijuana, and several additional cellular devices were seized in the living room. In the bedroom, I found, in plain view, a large cellophane bag against the back wall on top of misc clothing. The bag was found to contain a few smaller cellophane baggies (2) containing an unknown white powder and (1) containing a
white rocky substance.”
