Circleville – Every year new food trucks pop up at the Circleville Pumpkin Show we find them and review them and let you know where you can find them among your usual favorites.
Looking for new things to try at the Pumpkin Show? This may be your year. We’ve spotted several newer booths and many, many tempting treats. And as usual, we are happy to test them and report all delicious findings.
Grilled Cheese Gangstas – Watt St
The short stretch that is Watt street has several new booths this year. The first one we had to test out was Grilled Cheese Gangstas. They have 10 entirely delicious sounding sandwich creations with impressively clever names! It was very hard to choose what to try, but it’s hard to wrong with pulled pork or mac and cheese, so we opted for Tony Soprano & King Pin. So, so good!
They have a selection of tots, plus desserts. So what are Pumpkin Sticky Fingers? Essentially, a decadent, pumpkin pie version of a grilled cheese with warm, cinnamon surgar bread and creamy pumpkin pie filling inside. Totally unique and absolutely amazing. You’re welcome.
Our next stop will require a bit more hunting but will be totally worth it. If you love ice cream but definitely crave something pumpkin and fair-like, take a little trip to Pickney Street and check out the south side lot.
Bailey’s Concessions Ice Cream – Pickney st
We were drawn in by several unique options we’d never seen before: Fried Pie Sundaes, Pumpkin Roll Sundaes, Buckeye Milkshakes, and more! We would have tried more but it was a wet Tuesday we will have another report tomorrow, let us know what you have found!
