Circleville Announces 2025 Paving and Infrastructure Projects

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – The City of Circleville has outlined its 2025 paving and infrastructure repair plans, with several key projects set to impact local traffic beginning in early January.

Columbia Gas Work
Starting January 6th and continuing through early spring, Columbia Gas will be replacing gas lines and performing repairs in the North Court Street area, including Park Place, Brokaw, Rosewood, and Highland Avenue. During this time, there will likely be lane and street closures during the daytime, so drivers should be cautious and aware of crews working in these areas.

Paving Projects
The city also announced paving work for several streets. Work on Beverly, Montclair, and Guilford streets is scheduled for completion in the spring. Additionally, repairs will occur along multiple streets, including:

  • Southern Ave (from Southern Dead End to Huston Street)
  • York St (from Western Dead End to North Court Street)
  • Parkview Ave (from West Road to Brokaw Avenue)
  • Brokaw Ave (from Rosewood Ave to Parkview Avenue)
  • Douglas Drive – Nicholas Dr to Glenmont
  • Willow Lane – From Edgewood drive to Eastern Dean end
  • Glenmont Drive – From Douglas drive to eastern dead end
  • Nicolas Court – Nicholas drive to Cul-De-Sac
  • Pearl Ave – From South Pickaway Street to South Washinton Street
  • Griner Ave – Moats drive to Brink Drive
  • Brink Drive – Pontious lane to Griner ave
  • Imperial Court – Cul0De0Sac to Nicholas Drive
  • S. Court Street (from Claremont Drive to Southern Court Drive)

Traffic Changes & Detours
A new traffic pattern will be implemented at the intersection of Edgewood Drive and Sycamore Drive. Motorists should be prepared for changes in the area.

Storm Sewer Repairs
Storm sewer repair work is already underway on the west side of South Court Street near Sheetz. This project is expected to continue through early March, so drivers should remain alert when traveling through this area.

Tentative Closures
The city also issued a notice regarding potential closures at the South Court Street and South Scioto Street railroad crossings, which are tentatively scheduled for March 24-28. Detour routes will be clearly marked during these closures.

The city encourages all residents to plan accordingly for these ongoing infrastructure projects and to remain vigilant for changes in traffic patterns and roadwork.
