CIRCLEVILLE, OH – OhioHealth Berger Hospital celebrated the arrival of its first baby of 2025 when Waylan Joel Herman was born on January 2 at 9:08 a.m.
Waylan, born to parents Emily Igel and Jimmy Herman Jr. of Circleville, weighed 6 pounds, 3.5 ounces and measured 19 inches in length. The proud parents expressed their gratitude for the care they received at the hospital.
“All of the nurses and doctors on our care team are amazing and have gone above and beyond,” said Emily Igel, reflecting on her birth experience.
The newborn is also welcomed by his big sister, six-year-old Della, as the family celebrates their newest addition to the household.
