Pickaway County – Circleville city schools are bringing back an old tradition and hoping that it becomes a community event for years to come.

On Friday, October 13, 2023, at 5 p.m. the school invites everyone out to the Homecoming Parade dubbed “Tiger Thriller”! Kids will be dressing up in the theme to give the community a, “thrill.”

The Parade route will start on Watt and Pickaway by Joy House and go North on Pickaway to Clark Drive where they will head east to the High school. When they arrive The Home Coming representatives who rode through the parade will go straight to the Savings Bank Stadium where a crowing ceremony will take place.

“Another change to the parade besides the date is the theme! Our CHS Student Council wanted to really play up the fact that we are having the parade on Friday the 13th IN October. Tiger Thriller is this years’ theme and we think the community will love what the students have planned for their class floats. All three buildings, elementary, middle and high, will be represented! Pickaway County Pee Wee Football will also be joining us again this year as well as both CMS and CES student council,” said Circleville City Schools.

“We feel that this has become a great new tradition for both our school and community! It was so well received last year that we knew we had to keep it going! It brings some nostalgia to our Alumni and really unites Circleville!”
