The Circleville Fire Department is proud to announce the addition of three new firefighters to its ranks. Will Murphy, Breyton Felger, and Benjamin Hasson have joined the department, bringing their skills, dedication, and commitment to serving the community.

Will Murphy, Brayton Felger, and Benjamin Hasson have undergone rigorous training to prepare for their roles as firefighters. Their arrival signifies the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance its capabilities and ensure the safety and well-being of Circleville residents.

As they begin their duties, the Circleville Fire Department encourages members of the community to extend a warm welcome to Will Murphy, Breyton Felger, and Benjamin Hasson. If you see any of these new firefighters, take a moment to introduce yourself and show your support as they embark on their journey of service to the city.

These three positions are paid for by the SAFER Grant Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) is a 350,000 dollar grant over a 36 month period. The grant would pay for 100% of the salary for six firefighters. The city would only have to pay for Firefighter equipment and an 80-hour training period for new hires that would be performed by a staff trainer that was not covered under the grant.

According to Chief Thompson, this could bring staffing levels at 10 full-time firefighters per day.

The Circleville Fire Department is confident that Will Murphy, Breyton Felger, and Benjamin Hasson will uphold the department’s values of professionalism, courage, and integrity as they work alongside their fellow firefighters to protect and serve Circleville and its residents.
