Circleville, OH — Anthony M. Giffin, 25, of Circleville, has been sentenced to one year in prison after being found guilty of violating his community control. The conviction stems from an incident on January 29, 2024, where Giffin stole plumbing parts valued at $1,140.41 from a county resident.

Giffin was already on community control at the time of the theft. This week, he appeared before Judge Randall Knece of the Pickaway County Common Pleas Court. During the hearing, Giffin was found guilty of both the theft and the violation of community control.

In addition to his prison sentence, Giffin has been ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,140.41 to the victim. The sentence reflects the seriousness of the theft and Giffin’s breach of the terms of his community control.
