Circleville – The City of Circleville has placed Acting Deputy Chief Jon Farrelly on administrative leave as part of an ongoing investigation. This step is a standard procedure to ensure a fair and impartial process and does not indicate any prejudgment or conclusions about the case.

The investigation is being conducted thoroughly to review all relevant facts, according to the city. According to City Council, the issues leading to Farrelly’s investigation stem from events that occurred in 2023 but were only recently reported and promptly addressed.
