CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Planning and Zoning Commission has voted to extend the timeline for the Lakeside Reserve housing development in North Circleville, which has yet to break ground. The extension request comes as the previously approved development plan expired after two years.

According to Circleville City Planner Hannah Wynne, the developer is still in the process of selecting builders. “Not much has changed,” Wynne stated, adding that the developer hopes to finalize a builder soon.

Lakeside Glen, a planned 108-home development by Coughlin Investment, is set to transform 31 acres of open space adjacent to the Rockford Homes (Heritage Ponds) development off Walnut Creek Pike. The project includes 4.25 acres of open space featuring a pond, walking trail, and community access.

Originally the development asked for several setback adjustments but pushback from local neighbors forced the development to move forward with the same adjustments as local housing. The project remains in motion, with the developer aiming to move forward once a builder is selected.
