Circleville, OH — The Circleville Police Department responded to a series of incidents on October 8, 2024, addressing various calls throughout the community.

The day began with traffic stops, resulting in a warning issued on Nicholas Drive and a citation on South Pickaway Street. Officers also investigated suspicious activity, including a report on Mace Drive, which was cleared upon arrival.

Multiple alarm drops were reported on East and West Main Streets, all found to be secure. Officers took a report regarding threats and harassment on Kingston Court, and assistance was provided for a vehicle lockout on Pontious Lane.

An accident with no injuries occurred on East Main Street, with a report taken. Later, a theft was reported on West Main Street, and another incident was recorded on Lancaster Pike.

In addition, a well-being check on US Route 23 was inconclusive, while property damage was reported on Pinckney Street. Officers dealt with several non-injury accidents, issuing a citation for one on Walnut Creek Pike.

As the day progressed, police responded to various calls, including a civil matter on South Pickaway Street and a report of a homeless individual on South Court Street, where the person was advised.

Evening incidents included checks on potential intoxicated driving, which were unable to locate the suspect, and multiple injury accidents on East Main Street, with reports taken.
