The day began with a noise complaint on Logan Street at 12:15 AM, which was resolved without a report. By 2:09 AM, officers issued a citation during a traffic stop on South Court Street. Later in the morning, the police handled multiple civil process papers, serving documents on East Franklin Street, Ray Avenue, North Pickaway Street, South Court Street, and Lancaster Pike.

A series of 911 hang-ups, initially appearing on Shasta Drive and Cedar Heights Road, were resolved, with most calls being checked and confirmed as non-emergent. However, a hit-and-skip accident reported on Town Street at 8:45 AM did not result in a report, while a non-injury accident on US 23 was managed by another agency.

In the late morning, a property damage report was taken on South Court Street, and by midday, a fraud report was filed on East Franklin Street. A neighbor dispute on East Mill Street also led to a report being made.

The afternoon saw a mix of incidents, including a probation complaint on East High Street resulting in an arrest and a well-being check on Watt Street that confirmed the individual was safe. Issues of harassment and violations of protection orders were reported, with several cases being addressed by the police.

The evening brought additional challenges. Reports included multiple thefts from East Franklin Street, Sycamore Drive, and South Scioto Street, all of which were documented. Domestic troubles were reported on Margaret Avenue and Evergreen Avenue, with police taking appropriate action. There were also several instances of suspicious behavior, including a report of a drunk driver on Logan Street that could not be located and a suspicious vehicle on Long Street.

As the night progressed, the department responded to a series of threats, harassment incidents, and traffic-related issues, including a traffic jam on East High Street and a roadblock, both of which did not require a report. By the end of the day, the department had handled a total of 45 incidents, reflecting the ongoing commitment of Circleville’s law enforcement to addressing the diverse needs of the community.
