CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Circleville Police Department has released a summary of recent incidents reported from October 11 to October 14, 2024, detailing a variety of calls and responses throughout the city.
On October 11, officers conducted several well-being checks, with most resulting in checks confirming individuals were okay. Notably, one well-being check led to the transport of an individual to the hospital. The department also responded to multiple alarms, traffic stops, and parking complaints during the day.
Significant incidents included a fraud report on East Franklin Street and a domestic dispute, both of which resulted in reports being taken. Officers also handled a case of vehicle repossession and issued several warnings for traffic violations.
On October 12, police dealt with various issues, including a report of domestic trouble on East Main Street and another report of theft on South Pickaway Street. Multiple traffic stops were conducted, resulting in citations and warnings being issued. Additionally, the department addressed noise complaints and neighbor disputes.
October 13 saw a continuation of these activities, with reports of a stolen vehicle and various traffic violations. Officers also addressed vandalism and property damage, taking reports where necessary.
By October 14, the police were active in handling theft reports, parking complaints, and several 911 hang-ups, which were mostly found to be accidental or without further issue. Notably, an incident involving a civil problem resulted in an arrest.
