Circleville, OH – July 11, 2024 — The Circleville Police Department responded to a series of incidents throughout the day on July 11, 2024, addressing a range of concerns from traffic stops to criminal complaints.
The day began with routine checks and minor incidents. At 12:11 AM, a 911 hang-up call from Nicholas Drive was investigated and found to be okay. Shortly after, at 12:21 AM, a traffic stop on South Court Street resulted in a warning being issued.
In the early hours, officers responded to various calls, including a suspicious person report on US Route 23 at 12:46 AM, where no further action was needed.
The evening saw more significant incidents, such as a vandalism report at 8:04 AM on West Ohio Street, where a report was filed with the department.
Throughout the day, officers also handled several welfare checks, including one on Town Street at 10:14 PM, where everything was found to be in order.
Other incidents included property damage reported at 10:37 AM on Court Street, and a theft reported at 3:58 PM on Clark Drive.
Traffic-related issues were also prevalent, with citations issued for offenses on S Pickaway Street, E Main Street, and other locations, emphasizing the department’s commitment to enforcing traffic regulations.
