The Circleville Police Department was alerted to a menacing complaint on the evening of April 9th, 2024, at approximately 2019 hours. Dispatched to 151 E. Franklin Street, in front of the Circleville Police Department, Officer Dustin Fox initiated the investigation into the reported incident.
Upon arrival at the scene, Officer Fox made contact with the victim and a witness. Initial information was collected, and a report was taken, with a subsequent request for a warrant for the suspect.
In a supplemental report provided by Officer Tyler Hopkins at 02:52 on April 10th, 2024, further details emerged regarding the incident. The victium recounted the altercation, stating that Billy Greeno had aggressively approached him, using racial slurs and making threatening remarks to hang him.
