CIRCLEVILLE, OH — On July 10, 2024, the Circleville Police Department was kept busy with a variety of incidents across the city, as detailed in their latest records.

Starting late in the evening, a traffic stop on South Court Street at 12:23 AM resulted in a warning being issued to the driver. Shortly after, officers responded to a report of domestic trouble at the same location, where a report was taken at 12:33 AM.

Throughout the early hours, officers conducted extra patrols on various streets including North Court Street, Hayward Street, and Lancaster Pike, all yielding no issues upon inspection.

At 2:34 AM, a suspicious vehicle on South Washington Street prompted a report being filed. Minutes later, on East Main Street, another traffic stop led to a citation being issued.

Later into the morning, at 4:19 AM, a warrant was reported on US 23, and officers responded. However, a suspicious vehicle on East Union Street at 5:45 AM was gone upon their arrival.

As the morning progressed, an alarm drop call on South Pickaway Street at 6:58 AM was cancelled before officers arrived. A vandalism report on West Ohio Street at 8:35 AM was taken, detailing the incident.

Throughout the day, incidents ranged from a 911 hang-up on Holiday Lane at 10:45 AM, which was checked and found okay, to various well-being checks across different locations, most of which were unable to locate the subjects in question.

At 3:37 PM, a disturbance on Fairview Boulevard was reported but no formal action was taken by officers.

Later in the evening, at 5:45 PM, a civil problem was reported on North Washington Street, leading to a report being taken. This was followed by a fraud report on East Franklin Street at 5:10 PM, and threats/harassment reported on the same street at 5:28 PM.

To conclude the eventful day, officers responded to an accident on North Court Street at 7:18 PM, which was handled by another agency.

In total, the Circleville Police Department logged 37 incidents over the course of July 10, 2024, reflecting the breadth of challenges faced during their patrols.
