Circleville Police Report: A Summary of January 28, 2025 Incidents

Circleville, OH (January 29, 2025) — The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents throughout the city on January 28, 2025. Below is a summary of the notable calls:

  • Traffic Stops and Citations: Officers made several traffic stops throughout the day. Warnings were issued on South Court Street at 12:29 AM, US 23 at 8:38 PM, and North Court Street at 10:15 PM. A citation was also issued during a traffic stop on East Ohio Street at 11:00 AM.
  • Warrants and Law Enforcement Assistance: At 12:51 AM, officers cleared a warrant-related call on Logan Street. A second warrant-related call on East Mound Street at 1:05 AM resulted in no suspects being located. Additionally, a warrant information was obtained on South Court Street around 12:06 PM.
  • Fire Department Assistance: At 6:21 AM, a mutual aid request was made for a fire on Peters Road, with the situation quickly being contained. Fire-related issues continued to be addressed at Clinton Street at 7:03 PM, where a fire report was filed.
  • 911 Calls and Accidents: Several accidental 911 calls were made throughout the day, including on Cottage Hill Lane at 6:44 AM, South Court Street at 10:31 AM, and Clinton Street at 5:40 PM. All these calls were checked and determined to be accidental.
  • Thefts and Harassment: The police department responded to theft reports at East Main Street at 9:28 AM and East Franklin Street at 1:45 PM. A threats/harassment report was taken at East Main Street at 2:56 PM, and another harassment call was addressed on Eva Drive at 11:08 AM, though no report was taken.
  • Other Calls: There were a few complaints and reports, such as a trash dumping complaint on Logan Street at 2:00 PM, a domestic dispute on Walnut Street at 5:39 PM, and a found property call on Island Road at 7:59 PM. Both the domestic dispute and the found property case were unable to be located by officers.
